Community Roots

Our Community Impact

Community Roots is a social enterprise dedicated to re-igniting the Irish tradition of 'Meitheal'—neighbours helping neighbours. Through their flagship programme, Soil Mates, they connect garden owners with budding growers to share space and grow food. Their mission focuses on building climate-resilient, connected communities by tackling social isolation, promoting skill-sharing, and improving health and wellbeing.
