The Disabled Drivers Association of Ireland (DDAI) is a national, member-led charity dedicated to supporting disabled drivers and passengers. Founded in 1970, the organization promotes independence and equal opportunity through mobility support, education, training, and advocacy. They manage the EU Parking Permit scheme, provide guidance on vehicle adaptations, and assist members with tax relief and fuel grants, filling gaps in state services to ensure the dignity and inclusion of people with disabilities.
