Our Community Impact

The East African Medical Trust is a registered Irish charity dedicated to strengthening local healthcare capacity in Sub-Saharan Africa. Their work focuses on improving neurological healthcare through a three-pronged approach: enhancing patient care by developing management guidelines, advancing medical education through curriculum development and teaching resources (such as the 'Neurology in Africa' textbook), and conducting hospital and community-based research on neurological disorders in Northern Tanzania.
