Mountaineering Ireland

Our Community Impact

Mountaineering Ireland is the national representative body for hillwalkers and climbers in Ireland. Their mission focuses on protecting access to hiking and climbing areas, promoting responsible and sustainable use of the outdoors, and fostering a vibrant community through training programmes, skill development, and support for the Irish National Climbing Team. They advocate for the protection of Ireland's mountains, manage national schemes, and provide resources for both experienced mountaineers and those new to the sport.
