Mountmellick Community School is a co-educational post-primary institution formed in 1990 through the amalgamation of St Mary’s College and Mountmellick Vocational School. It is dedicated to fostering student development through a comprehensive curriculum, pastoral care, and a wide range of extra-curricular activities, including sports, arts, student leadership initiatives, and environmental awareness programs like the Green Schools initiative and the Valley Star Project.
