The National Council for Special Education (NCSE) is an independent statutory body dedicated to improving education services for individuals with special educational needs. Their mission is to support an inclusive education system that enables students and young adults to achieve their full potential by providing expert policy advice, conducting research, and coordinating educational supports such as special needs assistants, assistive technology, visiting teachers, and the Education Therapy Service.
