National Women's Council of Ireland Ltd

Our Community Impact

The National Women's Council of Ireland (NWC) is the leading national representative organization for women and women's groups in Ireland. Founded in 1973, the NWC works to achieve true equality for women and girls through policy development, advocacy, research, and campaigns. They focus on critical issues including gender-based violence, childcare reform, reproductive healthcare, climate justice, and mental health, ensuring that the voices of women, particularly those from marginalized communities, are central to national decision-making.
