Raheen Wood Community National School

Our Community Impact

Raheen Wood Community National School is a co-educational, multi-denominational primary school in Tuamgraney, Co. Clare. Established in 1986 as the first Steiner Waldorf school in Ireland, it provides a holistic educational approach that integrates the national curriculum with Steiner principles, focusing on the 'whole child'—body, mind, and spirit. The school is supported by the Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board (LCETB) and emphasizes community spirit, parental involvement, and nature-based learning.
