Founded in 1790, SIRKS is Dublin’s oldest surviving charity. It operates as a charity of last resort, providing one-off, in-kind assistance to individuals and families in Dublin city and county who are experiencing temporary hardship due to illness, unemployment, or other unforeseen circumstances. The society works in collaboration with registered social workers to help residents maintain their housing, restore dignity, and get their lives back on track.
