The 1st Port of Galway Sea Scouts is a registered charity and multi-award winning Irish Sailing Training Centre. Founded in 1932, the group provides maritime education, adventure, and youth development programmes for members from Beavers to Rovers. Operated entirely by volunteers, they focus on inclusivity, leadership, and seamanship, serving approximately 115 young people with a commitment to child protection and community engagement.
