Our Community Impact
Fr. Griffin's Éire Óg is a community-based Gaelic Athletic Association club formed in 2008 through the amalgamation of Fr. Griffin's (founded 1948) and Éire Óg (founded 1972). Serving the north-east ward of Galway City, the club provides a comprehensive range of sporting opportunities for all ages, including a 'Cubs' program (ages 3-5), a Juvenile Academy (ages 6-18), LGFA junior teams, Gaelic for Mothers & Others, and an All Stars program. The club operates out of its Crestwood facility, fostering community spirit and physical development through Gaelic games.
