Mud Island Community Garden
Our Community Impact
Mud Island Community Garden is a volunteer-led urban green space in Dublin's North Inner City, established in 2009 on a formerly derelict site. It serves as a hub for biodiversity, social inclusion, and community resilience, hosting regular repair cafés, language classes, art workshops, and biodiversity initiatives. The garden actively supports displaced people and asylum seekers through shared space and collaborative projects, fostering community bonds and environmental stewardship.
