Our Community Impact
The National Disability Authority (NDA) is the independent statutory body in Ireland responsible for providing evidence-informed advice and guidance to the government on disability policy and practice. Its mission includes promoting Universal Design through the Centre for Excellence in Universal Design, monitoring standards to ensure the full and equal enjoyment of human rights by disabled persons in line with the UNCRPD, and supporting the reform of specialist disability services toward community-based, person-centred models.
