Dogs for the Disabled
Our Community Impact
Irish Dogs for the Disabled is a charity founded in 2007 that transforms the lives of children and adults with physical disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs free of charge. Their programs include Mobility Assistance, Task Assistance, Therapy, and Canine Assisted Intervention. The organization operates independently of government funding, relying on public support to maintain high ethical standards and expand their impact, including the development of a new National Training Centre in Cork.
