Polio Survivors Ireland is the only organisation in Ireland dedicated to providing practical support, advocacy, and information for the approximately 5,000 people in the country who contracted polio as children. The organisation works to ensure survivors receive the necessary services to manage the late effects of polio and Post Polio Syndrome, maintaining their independence and dignity.
