St Mary's Adult Education Centre is a community-based organization established in 2002 to provide accessible lifelong learning pathways. Operating from a renovated former school on Island Road, the centre offers QQI-accredited programs, literacy support, and social activity classes. Through its Community Employment Scheme, the centre also plays a vital role in local development by employing and training local people to support various community initiatives and organizations across the parish, while also integrating green initiatives and environmental education into its curriculum.
