The Cork Urban Soil Project (CUSP) is an experimental initiative based in Cork City dedicated to creating a food-secure city by implementing community-scale composting solutions. By converting food scraps into compost for local food growing and tree-planting initiatives, CUSP works to improve soil health, sequester carbon, and reduce the environmental impact of waste incineration and landfilling.
