Founded in 1973, the 1st Meath Dunboyne Scout Group is one of the largest scout groups in Ireland, dedicated to the Scouting Ireland ethos of encouraging the physical, intellectual, character, emotional, social, and spiritual development of young people. The group provides a comprehensive range of scouting programs for youth aged 6 to 18, including Beaver colonies, Cub packs, Scout troops, a Venture group, and a specialized water section, while actively engaging in community service projects and fundraising initiatives.
