Since its charter in 1974, Clonmel Lions Club has played a quiet but deeply meaningful role in strengthening the 

social fabric of Clonmel and surrounding communities. For over five decades, the Club has mobilised local 

volunteers, businesses, families and civic leaders under one guiding principle - We Serve - delivering practical 

help, dignity and hope to those who need it most. 

Operating as part of Ireland’s District 133 Lions network and the wider global Lions movement, the Club 

combines international humanitarian values with highly local, community-first action. Monthly meetings held at 

the Clonmel Park Hotel continue to provide a base from which members coordinate fundraising, identify emerging needs and organise direct intervention projects across the year.
