Shannon Gaels GAA is a historic community-based sports organization serving the parish of Croghan. Founded in 1949, the club promotes Gaelic games, Irish language, and culture while supporting youth development and community health. The club operates a 'One Club' model and has undertaken significant facility development, including pitch redevelopments, a gym, and a lit walking track, sustained by local sponsorship and voluntary effort.
