The Charitable Infirmary Charitable Trust (CICT) is the oldest, continuous, active charity in Ireland, originally established in 1718 as the first voluntary hospital in Britain and Ireland. The Trust manages charitable funds to provide supplementary financial assistance to medical research, clinical equipment, and various charitable causes supporting the poor and needy in Dublin city centre.
